Alternative Peer Group: Lancaster Community Recovery Program

Our Alternative Peer Group (APG) engages individuals in recovery from substance use disorder in getting involved and creating positive relationships in the recovery community through education and recreation. The APG's focus is to offer and shape a new peer group that utilizes positive peer pressure to stay in recovery.

Educational topics include recognizing relapse triggers/rising above them, dating/healthy relationships, understanding self-worth/boundaries, family restoration, seeking/giving forgiveness, career planning/building & financial growth.

APG participates in bi-monthly, fun, sober activities such as Philadelphia Zoo trip, Pictionary, ninja warrior night, tie-dyeing shirts, paintballing with many more exciting adventures to come!
